VITAMINS AND MINERALS:
Vitamins and minerals are necessary nutrients for your body to work properly because continuously your body is growing, i.e., making cells of body structure like muscles, bones, etc. But to do all this, your body needs some raw materials, include at least 30 vitamins and minerals, and dietary elements that your body needs but cannot produce on its own in enough amounts. Both vitamins and minerals are used in little quantity but have huge numbers of functions in your body.
Vitamins and minerals are recognized essential nutrients because they play hundreds of functions in the body. They support to shore up bones, cure wounds, and reinforce your immune system. They also transform food into energy and repair cellular degeneration. And also essential for metabolic activities.
But trying to maintain track of what all these vitamins and minerals can be difficult. Here I am discussing them briefly,
Vitamins are a collection of organic compounds that required to the human for the regulation of their general functions (such as normal growth, maintenance of life, reproduction, etc.), Simply they are vital for life and have a lot of roles.
There are two types of vitamins
-FAT SOLUBLE: vitamins that are soluble in fat are called fat soluble vitamins and also stored in body fat (such as vitamin A, D, E, K).
-WATER SOLUBLE: vitamins that are soluble in water are called water soluble. Their requirements are more than fat-soluble vitamins because they are not stored in the body (such as vitamin B-C complex).
Excess and deficiency of both vitamins are not good for your health.
Minerals are inorganic and naturally occurring substances, such as(calcium, iron, cobalt, N, P, S, Mg, Fe, Mn, etc.), which is essential for normal metabolic activities, i.e., development, growth, immunity, and reproduction.
